Ellipses on card components should not be used
Context
In August of 2022 it was reported that ... following text, especially around dates was leading to confusion. When attached to dates, no one knew the year or potentially the month of an event, especially at the cusp of a new month or year.
Decision
It has been decided that we will not use ellipses on web components moving forward. If one feels inclined to use the ellipses pattern then great care must be taken to determine if it will introduce confusion.

Existing view-generated components had to be updated in Drupal.
